Journal of Optics and Photonics Research (JOPR) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes research on advanced photonic devices and systems, with a focus on intelligent modeling, design, optimization, and manufacturing. JOPR particularly encourages submissions that bridge these domains, highlighting both theoretical advances and practical innovations that drive next-generation photonic science and engineering.

The journal is a Gold Open Access journal, online readers don't have to pay any fee.

The journal is currently free to the authors, and all Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived until 31 March 2026.
