Journal of Optics and Photonics Research (JOPR) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes fundamental and applied research across optics and photonics, with coverage of technologies, materials, devices, systems, and photonic integration, including intelligent modeling, design, optimization, and advanced manufacturing. JOPR particularly encourages submissions that bridge these domains, highlighting both theoretical advances and practical innovations that drive next-generation photonic science and engineering.

JOPR is sponsored by The Key Laboratory of Specialty Fiber Optics and Optical Access Networks, Shanghai University, a distinguished research institution recognized for its contributions to optical communications, specialty fibers, and photonic technologies.
