EiC Introduction:
Professor Yunqi Liu received a Ph.D. in Optics from Nankai University, China, in July 2000. From 2000 to 2008, he worked as a Research Fellow at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, at the School of Engineering, City University London, U.K., and the at Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, respectively. He joined the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Shanghai University, China, as a full professor in 2008. He was supported by the Program for Professor of Special Appointment (Eastern Scholar) at Shanghai Institutions of Higher Learning, China. He has published more than 230 papers in international academic conferences and journals, which include more than 200 SCI and EI. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of OPTICA. He has been invited as an invited Speaker for more than 30 international conferences.
