Volume 2, Issue 3 Released!
We are delighted to announce the publication of Volume 2, Issue 3 of Medinformatics.
All articles published in Medinformatics are published in Gold Open Access. In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management, a one-time article processing charge (APC) of 800 USD (US Dollars) applies to papers accepted after peer review.
Medinformatics does not charge a submission fee which means there are no charges for rejected articles. The length of an article and figures or supplementary data are not subject to additional fees by the journal. Some items (Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published free of charge.
The prices quoted do not include any value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other sales taxes. Tax may be charged in addition to the price shown where required by law. The amount of tax charged will be calculated at the point of sale and identified separately. If you have a VAT, GST, or other sales tax identification number, you should provide this when requested.
The journal is currently free to the authors, and all Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived until 31 December 2025.
To help support researchers who are unable to meet some or all of the costs associated with publishing open access, we operate a transparent waiver policy. Automatic 50% waiver for article processing charges on manuscripts where the corresponding author is based in any of the countries listed below.
Please note that the waiver applies only to the APC and does not cover over-length fees.
To prevent double-charging, a full refund of the Article Processing Charge (APC) will be given if other funding is later used for the same article. APCs are otherwise non-refundable once publishing services have been provided. Retractions or removals are usually beyond the journal's control and do not reduce the services already provided or our responsibility to maintain the scholarly record. No refund will be made when articles are retracted due to author error or misconduct.
