SPECIAL ISSUES

Submitting a Proposal

What is a Special Issue?

A Special Issue is a collection of peer-reviewed articles which focuses on a specific area of the field within the aims and scope of the journal. Special Issues offer an excellent opportunity to promote new research avenues and foster collaboration.

Your Role as a Lead Guest Editor

If you wish to submit a proposal for a Special Issue, you will take on the Lead Guest Editor role. If there is more than one Guest Editor, one Lead Guest Editor must be nominated. Lead Guest Editors should have recognized expertise in the field covered by the Special Issue. They are responsible for defining the scope of the special issue, recruiting a team of suitably qualified Guest Editors, identifying and contacting potential contributors, and overseeing the review process.

Submitting a Proposal

Please fill in the Proposal Form and send it to the Journal Editorial Office: medin@bonviewpress.com. The Editorial Office and the Editor-in-Chief will evaluate all proposals, and they will make the decision as to whether your Special Issue is suitable for this journal. Revisions may be requested to improve the proposal.
