Special Issue on Recent Advances in Civil Engineering with the Goal of Sustainable Development

Aims and Scope

The design, building, and ongoing maintenance of both the built and natural environments are the primary focuses of the engineering profession known as civil engineering. Public works such as roads, bridges, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railroads are included in this category. Hence, it is necessary to expand knowledge of civil engineering in academia and industry, to educate students and researchers on the fundamentals of this area, and to publish the most recent scientific accomplishments. Studies on recent advancements in civil engineering provide experts with insights into the improvement of human life and the environment. This is one of the reasons why it is so important to make in-depth study in this area, which increases the productivity and well-being of society. In point of fact, rising research in many fields of civil engineering with the intention of achieving sustainable development is a framework for developing, extending, and boosting societies for the purpose of addressing the growing problems caused by urbanization. This Special Issue's goal is to give academics, designers, and manufacturers working in the many subfields of civil engineering with a multidisciplinary framework that they may utilize in their work.
