SPECIAL ISSUES

Submitting a Proposal

What is a Special Issue?

A Special Issue is a collection of peer-reviewed articles which focuses on a specific area of the field within the aims and scope of the journal. Special Issues offer a wonderful opportunity to promote new research avenues and foster collaboration.

Your Role as a Lead Guest Editor

If you wish to submit a proposal for a Special Issue, you will be taking on the role of Lead Guest Editor. If there is more than one Guest Editor, one Lead Guest Editor must be nominated. Lead Guest Editors should have recognized expertise in the field covered by the Special Issue. They are responsible for defining the scope of the special issue, recruiting a team of suitably qualified Guest Editors, identifying and contacting potential contributors, and overseeing the review process.

Submitting a Proposal

Please fill in the Proposal Form and send it to the Journal Editorial Office: office@swteditorial.com. All proposals will be evaluated by the Editorial Office and the Editor-in-Chief, and they will decide as to whether your Special Issue is suitable for this journal. Revisions may be requested to improve the proposal.
