Professor Qing Liao is Dean of the Institute of Cyberspace Security, Distinguished Professor, and PhD Supervisor. She is a nationally recognized high-level talent in China and has been recognized among the World's Top 2% Scientists.

She received her PhD from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Her research focuses on  AI security and Embodied Intelligence Safety. She has published more than 100 papers in leading international journals and conferences, including IEEE TKDE and NeurIPS.

Professor Liao has led numerous national and provincial research projects and received multiple national and provincial scientific awards. She serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals, including IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security(IEEE TIFS) and IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (IEEE TMC).
