Professor Shaojie Qiao is an Outstanding Youth Representative of Sichuan Province, China. He is working as a full-time professor in the School of Software Engineering of Chengdu University of Information Technology.
He has published more than 120 academic papers (more than 50 first or corresponding author), including more than 20 SCI and 60 EI papers (not double counting), including high-quality journals, TKDE, IEEE Trans on ITS, IEEE Trans on SMC-System, TCSVT. He received the Best Paper Award of IEEE ISI 2008. He is a senior member of CCF and IACSIT, a member of the CCF Database Committee, CCF Big Data Committee, CCF Computer Application Committee, and a member of the Standing Committee of China Artificial Intelligence Society on "Machine Learning" and "Rough Sets and Soft Computing". He is also an expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and an expert of the Ministry of Education of China (MOE).
