Special Issue on Environmental Sustainability Development and Technology

Aims and Scopes

The aims of this special issue are to provide a platform for participants in the International Conference on Sustainable Environmental Science and Technology 2023 (ICESTech 2023) to publish their most recent scientific research on environmental sustainability development and technology.

As the world’s population continues to rise, we are witnessing the long-term consequences of excessive energy consumption, natural resources depletion, pollution, deforestation, and damage to the biodiversity and ecosystems. Environmental sustainability is the practise of interacting responsibly with the planet and creating a balance between humans and the living world. It is critical to protect resources such as clean air and water for future generations. Committing to environmental sustainability will reduce the carbon footprint and the amount of pollutants released into the environment, thereby making the world safer, cleaner and healthier. Environmental sustainability is important to our planet’s survival and our own survival. To improve the human life quality without putting undue strain on nature and ecosystems, therefore, environmental technology such as wastewater treatment and water purification, waste management and recycling, waste-to-energy, waste-to-wealth conversion, and so on were developed. Furthermore, environmental sustainability can be achieved through the development of new technologies such as carbon capture and storage systems.

Note on The 2nd International Conference on Engineering, Science and Technology

2nd International Conference on Engineering, Science and Technology (ICEST 2023) is expected to provide an international platform that allows researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share and discuss their latest research, ideas, and survey reports in the theoretical and practical areas regarding all aspects of Engineering, Science and Technology.

ICEST 2023 enables collaboration between academician and industrial fields as well as international networks. The conference allows for substantial opportunities for presentation and academic discourse.  Attendees will find various activities useful in bringing together a diverse group of scientists and technologists of various disciplines for the generation of new ideas, potential collaboration, and business opportunities.

This SI is open for submission to conference participants, as well as contributors around the globe, who are interested in contributing to this hotly debated topic.

Manuscript Submission Information
Submission deadline: December 31, 2023
Submissions that pass pre-check will be reviewed by at least two reviewers of the specific field.
Free fast publication and early access will be provided to all accepted papers.
